As part of the expansion of railway projects in Saudi Arabia, work has begun on the railway line linking the Eastern Railway network (Dammam-Riyadh) with the Northern Railway network, and the internal railway network project in Jubail Industrial City. The project, which was inaugurated on Sunday, October 9, 2024, connects the Northern Railway network with the Jubail network project.
